Q. How can I access articles from the New York Times?

Articles published in the web version of the New York Times (or on their website) can be viewed here, via our database ProQuest. The articles will not contain images or links, but they will be full text. Coverage runs from 1996 to present.

You can also view articles published in the print edition of the New York Times through ProQuest here. Coverage runs from 1980 to present.

You can view historical articles from the New York Times via ProQuest here. Coverage runs from 1851 to 3 years ago.

Articles from The Daily, the New York Times Book Review, New York Times Español, and New York Times Magazine can be found here. Select the publication you want to view.

• Select either New York Times (1851 - 3 years ago) or New York Times (1980 - current)
• Note: You may need to sign in to access this resource if you are off campus. 

The New Mexico State Library also offers one-day subscriptions to the New York Times that includes access to News (including their archives), Games, Cooking, Wirecutter, and The Athletic. You must make an account with NYT to activate the subscription.
