The database Global Newsstream compiles many national newspapers' current articles. You can access Global Newsstream here:

  • Start at library.unm.edu
  • Click on the Databases button
  • Click on the G database tile
  • Click on Global Newsstream
    • Enter your Net ID and password if you are off-campus
  • Conduct a Publication search to find the current issue for a given newspaper.

Publications include New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Wall Street Journal, Barron's, and Forbes.

You can also search local New Mexico newspaper headlines using New Mexico Newspapers.

 

To find non-mainstream and global newspapers:

  • Start at library.unm.edu
  • Click on the Databases button
  • Click on the N tile
  • Select a title from the various Newspaper databases

Did you know: You can set up alerts in subscription databases, much like Google News, but with the publications of your choice.
