Q. How do I get a library card?

All currently enrolled students, faculty, and staff at UNM are automatically granted library privileges. Your Lobo ID card works as your library card!

You can see how many items your can check out and how long they check out for on our Borrowing Information, Loan Periods & Fines page.

Present your Lobo ID card to check out library materials or to print in the libraries. To check the status of your account, contact us.

If you are not a current student, faculty, or staff member, you can apply for a Community Borrower Card online. For more information about accessing library materials as a non-affiliate, please see our community researcher FAQ.
