Q. How do I request items from the Tower?

Certain items in our collection will have a "Closed Access - Tower" shelving location. These items are available to check out by request.

UNM affiliates (students, staff, and faculty) can request Tower items through ILLiad, or by clicking the "Request" button in the item's record in the catalog.

Community Borrower Card holders can request that items from the Tower be pulled and held for them through Ask a Librarian, or at the service desk of any library. Tower items will only be available for pickup at Zimmerman Library.

Tower collections are not available to be browsed, and staff at the service desk are unable to pull items from the tower on-demand. Tower items are subject to our regular circulation policies.
