Q. Why can't I access the library website or the database from off campus?

The University of New Mexico blocks access to certain VPNs, but there are no known issues at time that would prevent off campus users from accessing the library website or databases. If you are encountering any issues, please open a ticket with us.

Include the following information:

• Your IP address, which you can find using this website: https://icanhazip.com/ 
• What you were trying to access, e.g., library.unm.edu, a specific database, logging into our proxy server, interlibrary loan,  etc.
  • You can copy and paste the URL from your browser as well
• Any error message you received.

This answer gets updated whenever there is an active issue.
