The Adobe Creative Commons, located in the east end of Zimmerman Library’s Learning Commons, offers a wide variety of equipment, training, and support for UNM faculty, staff, and students working on digital media projects.

Shared Spaces in the Commons: 

  • Tables & desks for collaborative work & bringing your own device
  • Service desk for student, faculty, and staff support
  • High-powered computers with Adobe Creative Cloud already installed
  • The Collaboration Room where workshops, trainings, and collaborative work happens

Spaces available for reservation: 

  • Sound proof recording booths with high quality audio recording equipment
  • Secluded editing bays with high powered machines with dual screen set-up and Adobe Creative Cloud

Equipment to check out: 

  • Canon camera kits (includes tripods, microphone, and portable RGB lights)
  • Gimbals (to keep your camera steady)
  • Audio recording equipment, including two channel recorders and boom mics 
  • Mobile green screen kit 
  • LED lighting kits
  • Ring lighting kits
  • iPhone mobile microphones
  • Streaming kits
  • Smart phone gimbals
  • Audio mixer for instrument recording

Please note: You must complete the Adobe Creative Commons Online Equipment Training before you will be able to check out equipment.

  • Walk-in trainings and support are available in the Adobe Creative Commons during the ACC's business hours.
