UNM has partnered with HathiTrust to freely provide digital copies of books for UNM faculty, students, staff or affiliates who are blind or have a print disability,. Any book in the HathiTrust collection, regardless of its copyright status, can be obtained through an online request form to the HathiTrust Accessible Text Request Service.

A print disability is any type of disability that prevents you from being able to read a print book, which includes but is not limited to blind/low vision, cognitive disabilities, learning disabilities, or physical disabilities. For books not in Hathi, we will attempt to provide an accessible digital copy from another source.

For  digitized versions of course materials or textbooks, students should reach out to UNM's Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) for assistance.
