Q. Do I need an ID to enter the library?

A valid government-issued or student picture ID is required to enter Centennial Science and Engineering Library, Fine Arts and Design Library, and Zimmerman Library. 

If you are a current UNM student, staff or faculty, you can swipe your ID at the entry gates.  If you forget your UNM ID, you can verify your affiliation with the staff at the service desk near each entrance. 

If you are not affiliated with UNM, you can also enter the building by providing a valid ID to the staff at the entry desk. Non-UNM affiliates without a valid ID will not be allowed entrance.
