Q. Can I check out a laptop computer at the library?

Yes!

You can check out a PC or Mac laptop at the service desk of any of the three campus libraries. A valid LoboCard is required for checkout. Laptops check out for three hours, and cannot leave the library.

Portable and wall chargers, mice, headphones, and other peripherals are also available for checkout upon request. You can view a full list of equipment offered by the libraries here.

UNM IT has a limited semester-long laptop checkout program for eligible students, as well as additional information on other technology access. You can view more information on this program here, or by contacting UNM IT directly at (505) 277-5757.

Note: Most libraries also have HDMI and other types of cables and adapters for connecting laptops to flat panel displays in library study rooms.
