Q. Can I suggest the library purchase a particular book, journal, or media?

Yes, UNM students, faculty, and staff can request that the University Libraries purchase items not currently in our collection. You can submit a request here for books, eBooks and media to be added to the permanent collection.

You may also speak directly with a librarian regarding purchase requests for specific titles or databases:

• Graduate students, Faculty, & Professionals    

Please note that a request for an item does not guarantee that item will be purchased. Purchased items are also subject to processing time before they're made available for use. You may also request items for short-term use through Interlibrary Loan.
