Q. What is New Mexico Archives Online and how do I access it?

New Mexico Archives Online (NMAO) is a catalog of primary source materials located in 19 repositories across the state of New Mexico. NMAO replaced the Rocky Mountain Online Archive, which was decommissioned in September 2021.

To access:

• Start at library.unm.edu
• Click on the Center for Southwest Research & Special Collections link
• Click New Mexico Archives Online link on the lefthand side of the page
