Q. How do I find theses and dissertations?

There are multiple ways to find theses and dissertations:

• Search in Dissertations and Theses Global Full-text (ProQuest) Database
  • Start at the library's homepage, library.unm.edu
  • Click Databases button and select the D tile
  • Scroll down and click on Dissertations and Theses Global Full-text (ProQuest)
  • Advanced Search allows you to limit by institution, advisor, committee member, department, and more

• Find UNM electronic theses and dissertations at UNM's open-access digital repository (DISC)
  • Start at digitalrepository.unm.edu
  • Search for UNM electronic theses and dissertations published electronically after 2008

• Search for pre-2008 UNM theses and dissertations in print
  • Start at library.unm.edu
  • Perform search using the title or author
  • Use the Source Type drop down limiter at the top and choose Dissertations/Theses
  • Submit a digitization request if you would like a PDF 

• Search for non-UNM open access theses and dissertations in Google Scholar
  • Start at library.unm.edu
  • Click Databases button and select the G tile
  • Scroll down and click on Google Scholar
  • Perform search using the title or author
