Yes!

The University Libraries own a selection of DVDs, primarily located at the Fine Arts & Design Library. We even have VHS tapes! VHSs and DVDs can be checked out for 5 days with two renewals. To find a VHS or DVD:

  • Start at  library.unm.edu
  • Enter the title or keywords in the quick search box
  • Click the "All filters" box to bring up the advanced search
  • Select "Source Types" and choose "Videos"

In addition to DVDs, databases like Kanopy and Films on Demand offer video streaming online. Streaming is also available for select other databases, including film, opera, and dance:

  • Go to the library homepage
  • Click on the "Databases" button
  • Click on the "By type" dropdown menu
  • Choose "Video"
  • Click on the arrow to the left of the database title to read a description
