There are several ways!

Search the library catalog:

  • Start at library.unm.edu
  • Perform a search in the main Quick Search box
  • Limit search results on the next page by checking the Full Text and Articles boxes in the left pane

*Note: These limiter boxes are the key!

Search databases:

  • Start at library.unm.edu
  • Choose an A-Z tile that corresponds to the database, such as A for Academic Search Complete
  • Click the title of your database from the list that pops up
    • If you're off campus, you'll need to log in with your NetID and password at this point
  • Enter your keywords in the search box AND check the Full Text box
    • Feel free to check other boxes that might help your search, such as Peer Reviewed

*Note: There are other ways, too! Sometimes it's confusing to find full text material, but friendly librarians are here to help.

*Note: Non-UNM patrons can access online subscription databases through the New Mexico State Library service El Portal.
