Yes! Most of the collection, electronic and hard copy, is available from inside all of our library buildings.

Continuing Education students enrolled in classes lasting a minimum of two weeks are also able to receive a fee-waived Community Borrower Card that allows you to take out UNM books.  Proof of current enrollment will be required on the application.

Electronic resources:

  • Bring a laptop or tablet! You can freely access the Internet and UNM's databases
  • Don't have a laptop? 1-hr guest computers are available. See Library Computer Use Policy for more information on UNM community computers

To borrow items:

  • Check the Community Borrowers Policy to see if you qualify for a waived-fee borrowing card
  • Talk to staff at library service desks if you have more questions

To look for online resources from home:

  • Check El Portal, a collection of databases for use from home provided by the New Mexico State Library

Spaces and events:

*Note: Interlibrary Loan privileges are not granted to Continuing Ed students. See Community Borrowing Policy for other access exclusions.
